Work Bees: Hands-On Funbee

Falls Brook Centre is building connections between rural youth through hands-on mentorship and volunteer opportunities. Throughout the summer and fall, we are lining up a series of Work Bees to encourage youth engagement in rural areas and with rural trades.

What is a Work Bee?
Based on the traditions of volunteerism, cooperation and community support, Work Bees are times when volunteers join to work together in the community, when many hands are needed to get the job done. They are an exchange of ideas, skills and assistance and have the capacity to link up apprentices with mentors.
