Volunteering - WWOOFing

WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) is an international volunteer farm program of which Falls Brook Centre is a part.  It is a great way to travel across Canada and the world, while working on a diversity of organic farms and gardens in return for room and board.  WWOOFers who visit us at FBC can expect to geWWOOF Canadat a real hands-on experience in organic gardening - from planting to harvest.  Folks also often get the chance to help in our other program areas - from working on solar installations to maintaining forest trails.

To WWOOF at FBC:

  • Become a member of WWOOF Canada (link here).
  • WWOOF season is between mid-May and mid-October.  Please choose a period within that season that you would like to come.
  • Read the WWOOFer orientation (an adobe .pdf document) for a deeper introduction to WWOOFing life at FBC.
  • Plan to contact us and arrive between Monday and Thursday, 9-5 (we’re not here on the weekends).
  • Contact us to arrange your stay: call 375-4310 or email: ja@fallsbrookcentre.ca

We welcome visitors from around the world, and recommend that you contact us early to book a spot in the garden!

WWOOFing is a great experience and highly recommended!
